While the BSO isn’t able to hold their annual Youth Concert in person this year, they have done a virtual performance! This year’s theme is “I really thought I couldn’t: a musical look at self doubt”. Check out the supplementary materials curated by many MMEA members as well as pricing information about the concert itself. Concert will be available starting March 5 through April 30.

“Soloists for Scholarships – A Virtual Musical Offering”

The purpose of this concert is to shine the spotlight on four local organizations that offer scholarships to music students: The New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, The Southeast District Massachusetts Music Educators Association, and The Tri-County Music Association. This concert will feature three soloists from past Tri-County concerts, all of whom have benefited from music scholarships in high school and college.
