The Southeastern District MMEA has an annual music scholarship.The scholarship is named for Richard Shattuck, who taught chorus for many years at Silver Lake Regional High School, and was very active in SEMSBA, District and All-State.

This years scholarship was presented to 5 graduating members of the Class of 2007

who will be continuing on in the field of music education.
