The Bishop Feehan High School Performing Arts Department is seeking instructors for brass, woodwind and percussion for a brand new beginning band program set to begin in September 2010. The new Cadet Band program will start grade 5 & 6 students from the parochial schools that send many students to Bishop Feehan High School and other students from any area public school system that does not currently maintain an elementary and/or middle school band program. Each instructor will teach no more than 5 hours per week. Students will receive a weekly 50-minute group lesson. Lessons will take place at Bishop Feehan HS on Wednesdays between 4 and 9pm and will continue for 30 weeks through the school year ending in June 2011.
